Critics saw Armstrong turning his satire of the rich and powerful on tech billionaires, with sharp dialogue, a strong cast and timely jabs at AI and unchecked influence. The downsides were an increasingly far-fetched plot, a farcical final stretch and unlikeable characters some found tiring.
